1. Overview

This lecture series will consist of two 4-hour sessions. The aim of the first session will be providing a general introduction to international investment law, investment protection standards and the investor-state dispute settlement system. The second session will consist of more advanced topics, i.e. the “legitimacy crisis” and reform calls in investment law, the EU’s internal and external policies on investment law and its reform and their implications on Turkey.

IMPORTANT: The maximum number of participants for the lecture series is 50. We will evaluate applications on a rolling-basis. Therefore, early application is highly recommended.

  • %80 participation rate is mandatory to be awarded the certificate of participation. The certificate will be provided via e-mail.
  • We cannot offer any ECTS credits for the lecture series.
