Mustafa Can Sati
Mr. Sati is an Administrative Affairs Director and member of Executive Board of Directors of Istanbul Center of International Law. He was graduated from Prof. Dr. Mümtaz Turhan Social Science High School in 2011 and had undergraduate education at the Kültür University’s Law School where he was awarded with full-scholarship. At the master level, he conducted his International and European Law L.L.M program at the Ghent University. Mr. Sati submitted and presented his master dissertation entitled ‘New Means of Warfare & Law of Armed Conflict: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tom Ruys. He had Research Assistant Position at the Department of Public International Law in Istanbul Kultur University between 2017-2019. Currently, he is doing his PhD in Maastricht University. Mr. Sati’s PhD research focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence in Decision Making Process of Weapons within the context of International Humanitarian Law. Mr. Sati elected as a participant for the Fifty-fourth session of the International Law Seminar organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva and International Law Commission. He is fluent in English.
